that's actually a 15" letterbox HDTV, and those girls are the singing twins from the old Godzilla/Gamera movies

Umm i could be wrong, but Samsung is a Korean maker, hence the unveiling in Korea, therefore Korean models...just a hunch though.

samsung actually has a really good picture... for their computer lcds and tvs... sometimes even clearer and crisper than sony

hmm, never thought Samsung was highly regarded in the electronics field.. I thought they were more middle/lower in terms of quality in comparison to the bigger, more reputable companies (Panasonic, Sony)
