I just got a Samsung 172W Digital LCD in the mail yesterday. It's a 17" Widescreen LCD. I'm really enjoying it. Does anyone else have a Samsung LCD that can relate to my recent experience?

I have the older "non-sidescreen" version of that model.
One of the worlds finest manufacturers of LCD screens.

yep, Samsung and NEC have the nicest LCDs, maybe when I get a desktop, but for now, my Fujitsu laptop is still good!

just out of curiosity, what makes Sharp muuuuuuuuch better? no idea where you got that conclusion, considering their Aqus (sp?) line doesn't even compare to the line of lcd products sold here in the states by Samsung...

Sharp is kind of the bottom of the barrel for most any electronics actually. I'm suprised someone is actually saying they're muuuuuch better than a more solid mid to slighly upper-range brand like Samsung?

Hell, one of my bed frame reps is also a rep for Sharp Canada and even he cuts them down half the time

I hope they come out with a 182W or 192W in the future! I'd be in line to get one of those.

i have the 170MP. No DVI but it has the built in TV tuner and video inputs so I can ply video games or watch tv and still surf the web all at the same time.
