saw a F355 spyder today.
... my friend wanted to upgrade his car stereo today, so we went to tweeters.
in their garage, there was an yellow F355 spyder.
i was really disappointed!
bad, bad paint condition (cracks and fade),
the top is in bad shape,
dirty interior,
body parts not put together perfectly.
guess it was...
1) a kit car? which i highly doubt
2) got into a bad accident and got fixed
3) just... taken care of poorly
sigh... it was so sad to see a ferrari in such condition.

I've been in some long winded discussions with the Ferrari guys lately. Some of them look for low low milage cars when they are out to purchase, others on the other hand look for the well taken care of ones. Its believed that if you drive them like cars are supposed to be driven, and pamper the car, it will treat you just as well. BTW, high milage Ferraris would be considered to be around 20K miles and up - doesn't matter the year, even a 70's 308!
Some guys really abuse them, some can do that and still maintain them. The pampering is really reflective upon what you noticed today, and sorry that you had to see that.
