Saw the new M3 today... (pics)
At my local dealership around the block...
The salesman Brian was very enthusiastic and let us poke and prod the car... he even fired it up for us. No test drives tho darn it.
Can't wait for mine!

I'm with you on the the yellow Jason!
I was headed back from Maryville yesterday in the Xterra when a blue one, same color as the pics, merged onto the interestate in front of me. Unfortunately I never saw anything but his tail lights!
I did stop by the dealer later that day to ceck it out. It is a very agressive looking package much more so think than the older models. Only trouble with this particular car was that gawd awful blue paint!!

No test drive. You are on the list right? My local dealership is getting a demo M3 from BMWNA. They are only allowing people on the waiting list to test drive the car. Now, I can't wait for that one.
I'm on two lists... just not *their* list.
But dealers have the option to sell or demo their car... I can tell you that 99% of the Bay Area dealers will sell there demo M3's to the highest bidder. Peter Pan BMW is also selling their demo for $15k over MSRP... so many aren't allowing any test drives.
I'm #1 on the list at East Bay BMW for the rumored M3 GTR (4.0L V8) and I've heard mixed stories that they will or will not allow test drives in their demo unit, let's hope for the former.
