Montoya's radio - he's told about the penalty (mp3 format)

It's neither's fault. Montoya should not have gotten the penalty. Those things happen in the sport of racing, it's what racing is all about. A very costly bad call for Montoya.

I am not a big Schumey fan, but in this instance I would say that Montoya was at fault.....

Schumey is right beside him, and Montoya tries to take the racing line, which gives Schumey no room. Montoya should have stayed a lot wider on the corner and given Schumey room to at least get round the corner and not forced him off of the track like he did,

I think that the penalty is fine, as long as the race officials are consistent in the way that they interpret these sorts of incidents.

Judging from those pictures, i would say that it was Shumi's fault, but neither of them should be penalized, because thibgs like that happen when you race. At the apex, it seemed like JPM had the advantage over the Red Baron and then, going down each pics, it seems like the Ferrari had some oversteer problem. But at the exit of the corner, the car comes back to the normal racing line so it couldn't be an oversteer problem. I think the race should've been red-flagged.

Thanks!!!
Only thing that would've been better would be a direct overhead shot. The sequence does lend credit to the marshals ruling. Personally, I think it was a racing incident and he shouldn't have been penalized, but this gives much more evidence than the 'Speed' vision clip.
Just a thought...
What would people be saying now if the roles had been reversed between Schumacher & Montoya?
