I just had this done a week ago. If you think it's un-nerving to watch from above, try seeing it from the business end. It was absolutely painless, though. Incredible results immediately.

I took the 1 valium, but it didn't really seem to do much since it was only about an hour after i took it that they did the surgery. I did fall asleep pretty easily though when i came home....

Freq & Tombrew - what was your prescriptions before and now? I was -8.0 diopeters (hairy palms, etc...) and now 3 weeks later i am probably 20/30 in the morning but 20/50 or worse by late evening.... is that normal?

your eyes could still be adjusting give it some time..

Mine was 20/100, now 20/20. I could have done mono-vision correction (one near, one distance), but the doc talked me out of it. I had them both done for distance, and use reading glasses. At 51, I don't mind. My intermediate is fuzzy (dashboard distance), but the doc says that will clear in 6 weeks.
