This should be in the "let out" thread, but......... What a jackass..... what did he do with all of his $? wasn't he on celebrety boxing against some other dork? I am sure they gave him decent $ for that.

MILWAUKEE - More than a bell is needed to save Dustin Diamond this time around. Diamond, best known as geeky Screech Powers on the 1989-1993 teen comedy series "Saved by the Bell," is selling T-shirts with his photo on them to try to raise $250,000 so he doesn't lose his gray two-story house under a foreclosure order.
"If the public didn't care, I as an entertainer wouldn't have been a success," he said.
Diamond, 29, is trying to sell nearly 30,000 shirts _ at $15 or $20 (autographed) each _ to supplement the income he makes as a standup comic so he doesn't have to move from his Port Washington home, about 25 miles north of Milwaukee.
The T-shirt has a photo of Diamond holding a sign that says, "Save My House." The back of the shirt reads, "I paid $15.00 to save Screeech's house." The third "e" was added to get around copyright laws, he said.
He's selling the shirts on his Web site: http://www.getdshirts.com.
The foreclosure order was filed last month in Ozaukee County Circuit Court.
Diamond appeared on Howard Stern's satellite radio show Tuesday to plead his case. "I'm doing great with my comedy, but this is definitely a low point," he said. "Real life comes in and affects you."
Diamond doesn't have a listed phone number, and e-mails to the address on his Web site and at an alternative address were not immediately returned Thursday.

Sorry.....LOSER. If he can get away with selling shirts, just about anyone can. He's really just a nobody on a TV show that never did anything else. I wish people got this excited about all of our jobs.

He was on a TV show for four years. What else has he done besides that? Not enough obviously.
Since I haven't seen any of the rest of the cast of Saved By The Bell on Cribs, I'd guess they're not as well-off as you think they are.
Give the guy a break. He's trying to raise money by selling shirts. I hardly think that qualifies as begging.

I just did a quick search. This guy did a lot of stuff..... i would have to guess he has made way more $ than I have.....now the dick wants people to buy shirts to save his house.... NO SOUP FOR HIM.

Never saw Savde by the Bell, it looked to lame to watch, but if he loses his house he can always move in with Todd Bridges in the crack house.
I remember reading the bankruptcy article about Corey Haim. Some of these guys can't figure out when the gravy train is over, they don't really have any talent, and to get a job selling insurance.

I heard him on a local radio station this morning. Can't say I feel all that bad that at 18 you were given about $250k dude.
I know people hit rough patches (been there myself) and I'm all about being charitable/helping people help themselves, but I can think of several more worthy causes.

I've heard he is a giant douche. The guys on roadcomics absolutely hate him and his standup, apparently he is miserable to work with. He always tries to overplay his D list celebrity status while also tyring to distance himself from the screetch stigma.
Plus, how bad does your credit have to be that you can't get a mortgage? Maybe his parents blew most or all of his money from SBTB, but did they ruin his credit too? Doubt it, that one was all him. Then he gets into a land contract and is somehow surprised when the owner of the property wants his property back to sell. Genius.
