Screech needs $...... idiot!
I hated that guy. Go flip burgers or something Screech. Most of the other main characters on that show are still in show business and tried to advance pass that show, except Screech. He was the guy that chose to be a hanger-on on that show when it was way past its prime.
You know how many times a day Saved by the Bell is still played? At least three times in LA. If he's not making some serious royalties then he got a crappy manager when he signed on to do that show.
I've heard his stand up before. It sucks

Now you can see why his cast mates went on to bigger and better within the acting field and he is an also ran.

Makes perfect sense.
Is Mike D. of the Beastie Boys really related to Dustin Diamond from "Saved by the Bell"?

Dear Concerned Fan:
Forget spontaneous human combustion -- no urban legend has caused Gen Xers more distress than the rumor involving rapper Mike D. sharing DNA with Screech from "Saved by the Bell." It's enough to make us fight for the right to stick our heads in the sand. But the truth must be known. And here it is...
To all Beastie Boy fans out there, we're happy to report that Mike D. (Michael Diamond) is in no way related to Screech (Dustin Diamond). Furthermore, Dustin is not a relative of iconic crooner Neil Diamond either. Whew! Not that we advocate guilt by association, but since Screech is arguably the single geekiest character in sitcom history, having the man who brought him to life as a relative would certainly knock some gloss from these singers' reps.
That said, it's a testament to Dustin that his character remains so memorable. And despite all the groaners that passed for jokes, "Saved by the Bell" retains a cult following. A search on "Saved by the Bell trivia" brings up a disturbing number of sites.
So, mystery solved. But as to whether Jaleel White (Steve Urkel) is related to Jack White (The White Stripes) -- no comment.

Here's something your mother should have taught you, Scot - it's not polite to point.

why is he a dick again? For selling something to pay his bills? I'm sure most of us here sell our time, at the very least, for the same goal.

And for what it's worth, Happy Gilmore would have been a pretty lame movie if Adam Sandler's character got a "real job" to save his grandma's house.
