Ask anybody that has been in the military, they've probably have done that if not worse. As a crewmember of the USS Columbia, a nuclear fast attack submarine, I sometimes worked 13hrs plus a day, 7 days a week when out to sea.

My first question would be why?

Secondly BBY2KS2K is right, 17 years in the military has taught me that there is no such thing as a 40 hour work week. My job now is not too bad, 13 hour days 4 days a week, but my last job on a ship, was more like 80-90 hours a week. The sad thing is that a truly saddistic side of me misses it

If you are just looking to max hours it has been my experience that longer days and fewer of them works out better since most work days are pretty much a waste for anything else getting done. This is especially true if you have a long commute to work like I do.

Just my opinions, I could be wrong.....

You did mean work schedule right? Or maybe you mean sleep schedule.

I'm in the Army and I've been working 13-15 hour days since last March, nothing else to do here though. I took 2 weeks of leave in November and got 3 days off in October to get some R & R in Qatar. That's an awesome place.

Need more info as to what kind of schedule you're setting up.

I averaged well over 80 work hours per week for over 20 years so a 54 hour schedule sounds pretty easy to me.
