I picked up the sprayer with Satin Black (Dark Gunmetal) and Signal Red (very red) - will report back after some testing. The Sears guys and Craftsman manual both told me a conventional kitchen oven will work fine, but since I'm doing this with a business we're going to purchase a big oven and if it works out well we may go after a bigger gun.

We also picked up a sandblaster, so prep won't be an issue either. We're talking about doing this very cheap at first - just to see what the market is like.

Hot new flash: Sears owns Eastwood.
Im sure they are very proud

My point was the gun at Eastwood works really well ( I have used it) and is $59 cheaper.

I didn't get a sand blaster - my new business partner did. This is where we'll be doing the powder coating: http://dpmotorwerks.com/DPWork.htm

We have a bunch of race buddies (Spec E30 and P-944.....and S2Ki) who are always sending stuff out for powder coating and cryotreatment, so we're going to offer lower prices than most as a way to earn money for our own car parts.

We have the Powder coating gun, a few colors to test with, 2 sand blasters, plenty of prepping liquids/supplies and now we're just tracking down an oven. All this came from a casual conversation at DP Motorwerks Saturday afternoon and everyone taking care of his part of the business immediately - shows we're all enthused.
