I'll be coming to Seattle over Labor Day and want to start getting some ideas for must-do's. I'll be travelling with the GF. We will have a car, so anything within 3-4 hours is good too.

Thanks for the help.

Are you looking for social events, nightlife, driving destinations, or all of the above? Feel free to PM me or post this thread in the Pacfic Northwest forum. Most of the owners in the PacNW forum live in or within a few miles of Seattle.

There is a lot to do here in town, but with only three days to do it in you'll have to be picky.

We want to hear all the good tourist spots to hit.

We will arrive late on Thursday and we aren't leaving until Monday night on the red-eye, so we will have 4 full days.

Post away guys!

My girlfriend is from Seattle and we usually go visit her parents for Christmas every year. The last time I was there, they took me to the Space Needle and Pike Place. Pike Place is where the guys throw the fish around. I'm sure you've seen it on TV before.

They wanted to take me to Mt. St. Helens, but I'm not sure that's close to Seatlle. Maybe one of our Seatlle area members can tell you how far away it is.

The underground tour ROCKS, and Olympic National Forest, particularly the Hoh Rain Forest, is beautiful. I enjoyed Pike Place as well. You and Kari are going to love it!

Microsoft campus is 15 minutes from downtown Seattle. If anyone wants a tour, just drop me a line.

S2k Fan, the store is attached to the Microsoft Museum. There is some nifty stuff in there.

The lava tubes at Mt. St Helens would be the best stop out there. Picture hiking for a mile 50 feet underground! Its only a two or three hour drive.

I've posted more on the thread meat started in the Pacific Northwest Forum.

Oh yeah. Porches, Ferraris, Stooks, NSXs, Supras, superbikes, Lambos, and two Skylines can be found on campus. There is also a gazillion BMW's. Pick a car, I guarantee somebody is crazy enough to use it as a daily driver around here. I never realized it, but it might be fun just to walk the parking lots to gawk at cars sometime.

While every one else in the tech sector is layoff happy, we are hiring like crazy. Go figure.
