Default Secret Shopper - lol

I keep hearing these commercials on the radio about being a "Secret shopper". I will make $$$$$ to shop.

I just searched the web really quickly and found one place that I could paypal $20.00 for the information.

I am going to be rich, so **** you guys......

How do people sleep at night knowing they are in the business to rip people off?

My sister in law has worked for a couple of companies for 4 years doing that crap and has made a pretty good living at it. She can line up 6 or 8 shops a day all close together and spends 3 or 4 hours doing it. A lot of the time she buys stuff she needs, gets paid back for it, gets to keep it, and get's 20 or $25 for the shop. She combines airline, hotel, and food shops, and works when she wants too. That said, the crap on the radio seems to be just that -- crap.

dont you have to be hired by a company to survey their own services/products as a secret shopper?
and i thought it wasnt being in business to put people out of business... i thought it was really to survey how good the service of a store was and then to get rid of bad employees...
i wanna ba f***'n rich too!

mystery shopper does a useful job of providing feedback to the retailers.

I am sure there are actually some "mystery shoppers" but all of the sudden that is the latest scam. Pay $20.00 and I will get you the information to make you a secret shopper......

You pay the $20.00 and get no useful information in return.....just like lots of Repo House lists.... pay $50.00 to find out about Repo's and you get useless information.

this is exactly what it is - they have a lot of this in liquor stores in daytona beach. a person walks into a liquor store (or other store for this matter) and makes random purchases. they evaluate the place's customer service and based on their performance, they either pass or fail. the liquor store i went to had like 5 secret shopper awards on their wall.

My mom and Sister actually do this in their spare time (a few a week). They mostly just do the restraunt ones, and stores that intrest them because they have to buy something (within a certain $ range that is set by the company), and then they get paid back for it plus a little extra for their time (depends on the store). I thought for sure they were getting scammed, but they have been doing it for about a year now
