So, recently, I decided to post up my old T-Mobile Shadow1 on Craigslist... I was selling it for $130 with everything... In my posting, I included my email address and my cell phone number, and said if they were interested to email me, call, or text...

No more than 2 hours after I published my posting, I got an email, then a text from this mexican dude.. lol.... and this is how the conversation went through texting. lol




Guy: Do you still have fone for sale?
Me: Yes, I do
Guy: Wil you take 100 buck?
Me: Sorry, I'm asking $130 for everything..
Guy: All I have is 100 buck
Me: Sorry, but the very lowest I would go would be $120.
Guy: okay.. how about 60 buck and a nokia 6130





keep in mind, this is a Nokia Model 6130... like, circa 1997! hahaha


Me: lol, sorry I can't do trades.. $120 would be the best I could do for ya man.
Guy: k, if I can get another 20 buck, can we meet later today?
Me: Sure, where would you like to meet? The Varsity?
Guy: I don't have car
Me: okay, so you do you have a friend that can drive you?
Guy: no, there working construcion now
Me: okay, so where did you want to meet then? closer to you? would that be better?
Guy: can you come to my house?
Me: uhhh, I really don't feel too comfortable coming to someone's house.. you think we can like meet somewhere around the corner from you?
Me: Like, perhaps a starbuck's parking lot or something?
Guy: no, too far
Me: well, how far is it to your house from the nearest grocery story or something?
Guy: maybe a cuple blocks
Me: okay, well lets meet somewhere around there, say 7pm tonight or so? good for you?
Guy: i don't know, still too far..
Me: can you walk, or do you have a bike, maybe??
Guy: yea, well mayb i can ride my lawn mower or sumthin? so 7?
Me: lol, are you serious?????
Guy:yea that okay
Me: sure, I guess so.. See you at 7?
Guy: k






lol, so nonetheless I met up with the guy at 7 on the dot, at a local gas station, about a few blocks from his house. Easy to spot.. I pulled up, and no joke, the dude was filling up his lawnmower. hahahahahaha, I managed to snap a quick pic when I pulled up, before he saw me..



He ended up being a really nice mexican guy, maybe in his later 30's.. but yea, I just thought I would share my funny stereotype craigslist story with you guys! hahaha

Georgia is actually FULL of mehicans!! Not that I have anything against them or anything!! I used to have a few really close latino friends back in California where I grew up! lol..
