The SUV occupants did not survive. From what I read on another forum, it was due to the driver attempting to over take another car seen in the video, but the rear end came loose, driver over corrected too much, which shortly lead to their demise.
Very tragic. That's why I take it easy in any kind of inclement condition.

Is it a real video and not a special effect? At first, it seems a little unbelievable because the SUV disintegrated to tiny pieces like a bomb had exploded. In that condition, the semi-truck couldn't have been going much more than 50mph; and I have a different crash scenario in mind.
