It's like any other fashion accessory; some guys can wear it, some can't.

Refer to my previous post for any clarification.

My wife loves my S2000. However, I am sure she did not marry me because of the S.

We don't have his and hers "S"'s, but you summed it up so well. I have to

props to katherine nell! a teacher modding in a tasteful way!!! i wish my teachers would be cool like that, i bet it opens up a lot of conversations- maybe even beyond that of a car since there are common grounds? i think its cool either way.

well as for me, i used to drive a beat up old 98 civic. i mean the car wouldnt pick up girls but if you can "spit game" correctly then why would it matter . well so and so- ive had enough GF's for my age right now so that i just want to be single anyway- but mind you i am still in a committed relationship. anyway, i've had plenty of "nice car" comments (more than my old one of course) and i bet i could pick up a few girls in the S. it would non the less just add to the "game" factor of getting with a girl anyway. honda's are never going to get any guy laid, well not with any girl that would be worth it anyway haha girls that know about cars are attractive and/or respectable to me. just my POV on this topic

I put "some".

I bought the car at the beginning of my senior year in HS. I just finished my 1st year at University.

In HS, it helped. At that age, girls are totally materialistic. Plus, Seattle is a nice town, but it's not like the OC. So an S2000 does have some presence. The girls don't think of the S2000 has a super nice car, they still see it as a Honda - but they see a sports car that is fun to ride around it, a car that isn't cheap (remember my age and location), and a car that takes maybe a unique and fun lifestyle to support... I think a girl would rather be in an S2000 than a 330ci for example.

I didn't take my S2000 to college, but if I did I assume I would have put "not really". UBC (Vancouver, Canada) has too many AMGs, 911s, M3s, etc robbing the attention from the S2000, and I think girls mature more at this age from materialsm I experienced in HS.

Who knows? I sure used it while I could!

Yikes, All I know is I cant stand a certain type of women that decides her date based what car he drives how pathetic, but there are those types of petty shallow woman....Im thankfull to say I am not one of them, and like Katherine, I do alot of work on my car as well
but get the stupid line "Is that your car?"
My reply is "I certainly seem to have the keys in my hand now dont I"

Most girls I meet are not car savvy enough to know the difference (I've raised four teenage girls; two sets of twins) so I just tell them its a aston martin or jag or ect ect ect. Works every time for me.
