Default Sharp Dual View LCDs

Im looking for a flat panel for my living room, the sharp dual view would be perfect so i could watch what i wanted and my wife could watch her show. Or i could check email, etc. does anyone have any idea when these are going to be available for consumer use? I cant find anything in the web.

thanks

Dave

I read about this last night.

I'm thinking multiplayer video games so your opponents can't cheat...but since I'm not a kid anymore I guess it would be good for letting parents and kids enjoy television in the same room.

Anyone work at Sharp? I'd love to see the segmentation/profitability report on something like this. It seems so.... unrequested?

That's pretty cool. How do they handle the audio though? Would you have to use headphones or something?

You have th eability to use different televisions, but you need multiple consoles too. Otherwise, everyone can see the progress of other players. With the triple-view, I don't have to worry about my friend locating my sniper location from looking at my screen.
