Default Shipping Seats

I'm trying to get a set of seats shipped out. Has anyone here shipped seats before and whats the best way to package them for it?

Hey Jale-we ship alot of odd shaped packages, so I have an idea for you.

1-recline the seat as far back/flat as possible and lay the 2 seats on top of each other. They *might* fit in 4' long, 2 1/2' wide and 18" tall cardboard box. You can go to packaging supply store and see if they have a box approx that size or you could buy 2 boxes and make 1 box out of them. You'd also need some stryofoam peanuts or foam rubber as cushioning. Don't forget to tape up the 2 seat together before you box & stuff with the peanuts.
How heavy are they? I know both FEDEX & UPS (and DHL) have limits on weight-you might be in the Freight area versus packaging.
