Default Shoe with a pager / beeper in it?

Part of my son's "invention" brain storming last week......... both of my kid's always forget where they left their shoes.... (kind of like my car keys).... they will take them off in the basement, bathroom, living room, etc......

why not have a small beeper you could put in the sole of the shoe that beeps when you want to find it? Similar to the pager that the cordless telephone's have.

It would need to be a cheap setup since kids outgrow their shoes in about 2 months..

That could work and it could just be attached to the laces so it could be moved easily when they out grow the shoes. Time to go to Radio Shack.

I like that idea.

you could use the transmitter like the one on key chains that get lost and chirp to be found. That would be inexpensive. I think those are activated by a whistle or a clap.
