I have to deal with "burnt out " renters all the time as a firefighter. It's so tragic to see their faces and the sadness involved when a fire burns up all their worldly possessions and they do NOT have renter's insurance. It's cheap $..no one plans to have a fire, a water pipe break, or a burglary destroying everything you work for.

 

When I attempted to purchase renter's insurance, it wasn't cheap. It was a total rip-off, just like most insurance of any kind. You folks that live in midwestern states may get a good deal, but renter's insurance in Hollywood, CA is not cheap. That's all I'm saying.
