Default should i have opted for the s2000?

Out of high school, i spent my money on a new TL with Navigation. my mom made the comment the other day (since i talk about the s2000 so much and truly love the car's performance, but not the livability) that i should have gotten the s2000 instead. My age (20) clearly says s2000, but i wanted to get as many differring opinions as possible.

thankx guys

Probably the wrong site for that question. I would guess the vast majority of us would find nothing to compare in these two vehicles, or many others for that matter. Livability gets easy when you look forward to getting behing the wheel at every opportunity.

Hmm, straight out of high school and dropping 35k on a car? No, I'd have to say that if I were you I'd have opted for a down payment on a house...

I would have recommended a Geo Metro, preferably puke green.

Bob, Don't be hurt. I think Junkyard Dawg made the best point. Probably everyone here will say "heck yeah, you should've bought the S2000!" - we're all fanatics! As for The Raptor, well, he's on his own program. It's not personal.

I ended up getting my S2000 when I was 20 (only 21 right now). I don't regret it. I don't regret getting my beater either. Subaru Impreza WRX...

Only regret I have is all the friggen car payments My wife's Xterra is just about paid off (only one payment left this month). I don't plan on getting any cars for a good long time, probably 5 years at this rate. But that Toyota Matrix is starting to look real nice...

I think in the long run that car that you choose will be good for you. When you have more money to burn get something else then.
