Should I be worried about who's next door?
So I just moved into a brand new home in April 06. I love my neighborhood but the neighbors next door are trippy. (Think the 'Burbs)
My observations:
-So it's been almost 6 months since they're moved in and they have NO window coverings what so ever in their home. Nothing. All the windows on both sides of their home are uncovered, even the restrooms.
-They do not sleep in their bedrooms at all. They sleep on a sheet laid out in the family room.
-They only have 2 sofas, one in the family room, one in the living room. That's it for furniture in the entire home. Oh wait. they have a Costco folding table with a PC in the "office" upstairs.
-They do not have garbage service registered with the city. When you move in, you have to call the city and register so they can bring you the garbage bins and charge you for sewer. They don't have them.
-They are up late at night. Sometimes I wake up to go take a piss at 3 or 4am and they are still up downstairs either in their "bed" watching TV or on their laptops.
-They are NEVER outside at all. I think i've only seen them once or twice pulling the car into the garage and immediately closing the garage (which btw, is empty).
So i'm not racist or anything and I would hate to bring this up, but they are muslim and it's two guys living there. I have to wonder how they got the money to pay for a home that they obviously have no intentions of up keeping (IMO) or anything. Not to mention that the home is close to $800k.
Am I being paranoid or does it seem like there's something fishy going on? What would you guys think?

Fishy, but why would they leave the windows uncovered and risk blowing their cover?... But wait, how can they have cover if they're uncovered. Ooh the irony.
Plus they sleep on the covers.. Maybe that's what it is. They're sleeping on the window covers.

Do they actually LIVE there? Maybe the house is just an investment.
My parents bought a house in another city as an investment and they just check on it every other weekend; and the activity in that house is almost identical to what you've described. No real furniture, just some chairs, a table, and a tv. No window coverings until very recently (they've owned the house for a year already). They don't have a real bed with a mattress or anything like that, just an airbed that they put in whichever room they want to sleep in. My parents though, DO have a garbage serviced registered with the city, but you'll never see the bins because they're in the backyard; since they don't live there, obviously there is no trash to be disposed of. My parents are NEVER outside at all (seeing as they don't live at that house, or in that city.) You'll only see them pull into the garage every other weekend, a garage which btw, is empty.
I realize you're not trying to be racist, but it seems you're putting just a bit too much bearing on the fact that they're muslim.

Going over to say hello might give you a little more information and easing your worries. Bring them some brownies and watch how they dispose of the plate! That'll show you how they get rid of their trash!

I debated for a while on whether or not to post their religion/faith/race.
They do indeed live there, and they are home 7 days a week, always watching TV downstairs.
There are no garbage bins in the garage (empty except for two cars) and their side yard (we don't get backyards, this is the bay area where you don't get sh!t for your money
) is not paved, nor are there any signs that they've ever been out there. When I had my concrete paved for my side yard, the concrete guy went over to them and asked if they wanted to have theirs done as well. They told him no, and didn't even want to hear what he was charging. The HOA maintains the landscaping around the community, so we don't need to mow lawns.
I'm really trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it just seems too strange for me (and my friends that have seen it).
I'd just hate for something to happen knowing that I saw the strange behavior to begin with.
