Makes me want to take a few days off and try to think of something goofy...... who the hell would have ever thought that a big ugly green ogar woold generate that kind of $?

did Mike Myers create Shrek, or did he just do the voice? I thought he actually created it.?

the first one was pretty good if you ask me... I am not into kids movies at all, but Shrek and Toy Story were really entertaining...

Now excuse me I am off to go see the new Harry Potter film (also a good set of films).

Myers only did the voice, I believe. Reason I say this is b/c the voice was originally slated to be Chris Farley, but they cast Myers due to the "unavailability" of Farley.

if I didn't have kids I doubt I would have ever watched any of these movies........but.. i do have kids.... there are a bunch of good movies..... beauty and the beast (that would be Mrs. CG and CG), monsters, inc., toy story, bugs life, Mulan, etc.........

Yobri is right about that one. I work for DreamWorks, and as you can imagine, we're all very happy now.

Too bad I didn't work on Shrek, or I'd be rolling in cash right now. We basically get percentage bonuses for the movies we worked on.... c'mon SHARKTALE!! *throws dice* Make me Rich!!!!

I dont know, but I dont consider Shrek to be a kids movie.

I saw both and I think that part two was a lot funnier than the first one. What got to me was that there was a good amount of adult humor in this one. I found myself laughing my ass off where the little kids weren't. Background songs were songs that were played back in the day. very cool

I don't want to spoil it for anyone but how the hell did the word "thong" end up in that movie
