Most people that comit suicide see it as a the only way to solve their problems. They see their problems as having no satisfactory solution other than leaving this life.

I haven't found myself in a situation like that and I have been around enough to think I won't find myself in that situation regardless of what happens (other than perhaps a terminal illness).

No I would not commit suicide with someone I loved.

One thing I do know, suicide is the cowards way out. You leave behind people you love and it hurts them. Also suicide has been proven to be hereditary. More like the chemical imbalance that causes youto feel the stress.

I read about this one couple that did this also. The girl did it first and the boy chickened out. He was gona be charged with murder, but got off due to the fact that she volunteered. How bad would that be!!!

You would think if they loved each other so much, they could help each other work out their problems!

But, who knows....maybe they were trying to be like Romeo and Juliet?!

i don't know. i truly believe that if an individual has come to the logical conclusion that he/she can never attain happiness in life, then i think suicide is really a viable solution. of course people who commit suicide rarely make that decision logically, but the fact remains that many people endure their entire life being completely miserable. frankly, i rather opt for suicide than a lifetime of endless misery, but that's just me. as for hurting the people who love you when you commit suicide, sometimes it's selfish for those people to feel hurt in the first place. instead, if those people really love you, then they should understand and feel comforted in the fact that you have alleviated yourself from your unbearable personal pain. remember, we did not choose to be born, and life is not for everyone.

Wow! your opinion is quite different from mine. Life is for everyone. Hapiness is a state of mind. Those who go around miserable all their lives may not be trying to adapt to the circumstances. Sure, the circumstances may be shitty but giving up is too easy.

I admit that once someone has given up it is pretty hard to change their minds though.

Back when I was in HS, there was a couple that was early 20's that did the same in Northern NJ.

Such a sad thing to see...
