I saw on TV some time back a guy in London who actually commutes to work in a tank (it's pink I think). Appearently they are legal to drive as personal vehicles in the UK. Weird.

are you serious? legal to drive a tank to work in UK? sheesh, you have to ask the ? WHY? though

There was a guy who lived a few miles out on a farm road near where I grew up. Same sort of collection. Among his collection of a few tanks, APC's, a pool shaped like Texas, was also various other cars, including a 1919 Rolls Royce, which was toast - literally: an electrical fire burnt the car down. It was priceless and well... who knows what it is like right now.

Most of the stuff is stored out in a huge barn, where he built a crane and multiple chains to pull out and work on the motors on the tanks. Incredible stuff!
