Size Does Matter
Question: I've been invited on a cruise but very hesitant. I get sea-sick easily. I went on a fishing expedition once off Long Beach, CA and I sat their for 2 hours concentrating on not hurling. I was fine getting to the spot but the waves were really choppy and the boat was just going up...down...up....down. I get sick just thinking about it. However, this was a tug boat. Is it much different on a huge ship like that or is it still rockin' and rollin' ?
I tend to agree with moike, but my wife and a friend of hers on our trip had serious side-effects *after* removing the sea-sickness patch. A couple of days of serious nausea!
So, I guess it depends on where you want to be sick!
Seriously, the motion on Adventure of the Seas was very, very smooth. There were some excursions in small boats, but those obviously could be avoided. I believe the patch was probably unnecessary on this monstrous boat. Other boats might not be so calm.
