I think thats as wide as they can currently go in order to fit through the Panama Canal. But the PC is scheduled to be widened and other countries are looking at building their own canals connecting the Atlantic with the Pacific.

the Carnival Conquest docks in New Orleans and it doesn't have a size complex either. these pics don't do it justice though..just seeing that large an object in such a small body of water is really impressive.

port

180 degree turn and it was headed towards sea

I've been on the Adventures. Great trip. Of course since it was my first cruise, now it's going to be hard to even think of downsizing. QM2 here I come.

Chaz was that taken in Curazao?

420, my pictures of the Adventure of the Seas were taken in Curacao. The pix of the QM2 were taken in St. Thomas on (I think) her maiden voyage down there.
