Default Skiing - Whistler

I know that there are quite a few Canadians on this board so I thought I would check whether any can give me advice regarding getting accommodation in Whistler.

We are organising a group of 8 people for the beginning of March next year and are looking for a lodge, ski-in/out, with hot tub.

Anyone know of a good website where I can find a decent place?

Thanks.....

We went to Whistler last March and it was GREAT! By far the best skiing in North America! Huge mountain, tons of vertical, great prices, tons of nightlife. We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn. It was ski-in-out, room had a fireplace, balcony, and a kitchen. The hotel had underground parking, free breakfast, outdoor heated pool and two hottubs right on the side of the mountain. There is nothing like sitting in the hot tub and watching people ski by. We are talking about making a return trip this year, maybe we will be there at the same time. Also if it means anything I live in Florida and I choose to go to the farthest ski resort in North America from me, that's how good this place is! Let me know if you have any specific questions, I will help out as much as I can. Good luck!

I've been to Whistler/Blackcomb a couple times and it is without a doubt the best ski resort I've ever been too. The sheer amount of terrain is unbelievable. The out-of-bounds opportunities are very good too . Great nightlife in the village and a good selection of places to stay. Good luck with the trip.

Just trying to agree dates at the moment. Trying to get 8 people to agree is the problem though. Trying to make it the first week in March. Someone said that is a good time to go....

Shamu-

My wife and I spent a week in BC in July. Truly a beautiful place with really nice, friendly people. Vancouver is a great city. We spent three nights with some friends who just opened a bread and breakfast on the water at Bates Beach, just outside Courtenay, about halfway up the east coast of Vancouver Island. What a magnificent place. I can't wait to go back.

A co-worker of mine goes to Whistler every year and she uses this site to find lodging. She says that owners will contact you with their best prices once you submit dates and size of lodging required.
