Default Skipping CD-Rs

I recently bought some Fujifilm CD-Rs and when I'd listen to the CD I burned, the songs toward the end of the compilation would skip.

I burned the songs as MP3s not tracks.

I don't think it's my head unit because I stuck the same CD into another MP3 player and it'd do the same thing.

Do you think the brand of the CD has something to do with it? Or the program I used(Nero)?

THIS SUCKS!

But it is very possibly the media you used.

No, I have not tried that. But the funny thing is, I've never had that happen before with any other compilations used on different CD-Rs.

"Brands" matter less than construction and I'm sure Fuji has a range of discs. Probably don't even make their own. The dye used can be more or less sensitive to your drive's laser. You should always buy discs rated for the burn speed you intend. It is also possible the discs are okay but your drive's burn laser is getting weaker. Hence everyone's recommendation to slow down the burn and see what happens.
