Smashed M3 Convertible
Just saw a brand new M3 convertible sitting in the road with it's front-end ripped off. It was just the front bumper, but that can't make you happy....
Couldn't tell what happened - too many cars around.

Gregg sent me a pic of an M3 that rolled at Summit Point last week... flattened the entire thing level to the hood. Perhaps he will post a link to it since it's been mentioned.
Gregg called the M3 justification for a roll bar in the S2000!

If you track your car and need justification for purchasing a taller roll bar or cage then check out the following album.

It should be noted that this was not a convertible. Surpisingly, the driver and instructor both escaped with minor injuries and were released before the rest of us finished for the day.

This is more evidence of why you shouldn't install four-point harnesses in a car that doesn't have a competition-approved roll bar. If the driver and passenger had been wearing harnesses, they'd be paralyzed (spine compression) or dead.
