Default so how is business?

My company is located just outside of Atlantic City and 70% of our revenue is derived from casino industry. We have orders that have been booked usually 3-7 days in advance so our sales are about normal for this time of year. I must say the phone has not been ringing off the hook the last two days nor my fax machine. I fear we may be very slow soon. Leisure travel IMO could take a severe hit in the near future due to the latest tragedy.

So how are things at your place of work the last 2 days?

Hey guys, I'm feeling your pain and I fear that it's only going to get worse. I own several retail locations in Las Vegas and I'd say that at least 90% of our business comes from tourists. None of my locations opened up on Tuesday and today I might as well have not opened either. No planes are flying in or out and even after they start again, not many people are going to want to fly. I can only hope that it'll pick up or I won't be able to afford the S2k. Only time will tell. Good luck.

All of the Cal State Universities were closed yesterday and reopened today, but my class today was affected because of the loss of a day of instruction.

One of my students was (probably still is) in New York and couldn't get back in time for tonight's exam. She e-mailed me about it. Needless to say, I told her to take care of everything with her family there and the test would be awaiting her when she can make it back here.

Finally, today I was supposed to attend a seminar at Los Angeles Air Force Base. The base was closed and the seminar was cancelled.

All-in-all, no big deal compared to the sufferings of others.

I hope your business picks back up soon, Charlie. Thank God you're OK.

Everything is at a standstill until the airways open up. Even then I'm sure there will be delays.

Compared to what other people are going through, I these things are minor.
