the darker the scorpion the LESS toxic/poisonous it is. The lighter coloured ones are usually the most dangerous i think.

 

That's one of the things I hate about arizona. No mosquitoes, but you have freakier bugs to worry about.....

 

I had an emperor scorpion I bought for a few years ago. Anyway, the book I bought from the pet store said the general rule of thumb for scorpions is the ones with the fat claws and usually about as bad as a bee, and the long, thin claws are the ones to watch out for. Pretty general blanket statement though...
-BTW, that thing LOVED to sting the crap out of pinkie mice!

haha thanks, now i've just spent the last 45 minutes watching spider bite videos on youtube. its fascinating

 

And I freak out when I see a spider, if I saw something like that crawling around, I would leave my house for a couple of months.

 

Put him in a little bleach and watch him suffer that little SOB!!!!!

 

My gf dumped some acetone on him.
