So We've Decided On These 2 Domain Names...
bcs and zoomike,
WHY: Way back when I was in high school, a Jesuit one, it was compulsory for all the students to volunteer 100hrs of community service in order to graduate. At the time I volunteered in soup kitchens, Xmas drives, summer camp and it was a really rewarding experience for me. So now I'm trying to put together something that will help continue the spirit of giving.
WHAT: We're trying to put together a self help website. The idea is really simple. We want to connect people who don't have a job, maybe they're retired, maybe clueless, maybe desperate, whatever their reason why they're not working, we just want to give them a boost. We want to pair them up with busy people, small companies/big companies, who may have a small job or task they want completed. The arrangement of the jobs, the fees and everything will be decided by the employer and employee offline. We're just providing a virtual venue for them to meet.
HOW: We're close to finishing a few modules but we're hoping to give both Craigslist and Facebook a run for their money. Frankly these sites are great but are they really helping people create jobs?
WHO'S FUNDING THIS: The site is completely funded by me. Since Feb I've sought the help of a few S2K brothas and they've helped me along the way. I have not yet approached any VC since no VC's interested in funding a non-profit site like ours.
If there are any questions, fire them my way!!!
At this point there's still a lot to do. I've got 8 more S2K brothers who are going to help and I'm hoping to get a few more volunteers to come help and I WILL PAY YOU for your services. Just PM me!

I voted gigaround because you can kind of spell that easily. If someone were to tell me to go to helluvajob.com, I would have said, "how do you spell that exactly?" And then I'd probably forget. The spelling is just not obvious to some people.
