Default Some guy just told my wife "FU"

This was in an exchange with a prospective vendor. He inquired about some samples he sent and she replied that she would check them out over the weekend. Here is his reply:

"Heather,
OK glad it arrived.
FU with you next week, have a good weekend.
Andy"

Ok, now I am almost open-minded to the internet dumbing down society and its ability to communicate, but come on, there has to be a limit. The first thing that comes to mind with someone communicates "FU" is not "Follow Up." My feeling it that it was a damn poor choice of letters.

What are your thoughts?

ahahah I'll have to use that one on my boss.

In short, that is very unprofesional, and depending on this situation, if one of my guys pulled that, they have to convince me to keep thier job

I would have to think it was Follow Up.... geez..... how dumb is that guy though.........

Maybe have her ask him what FU meant.... he is probably just a dumbass......

We use "FU" in medical jargon but it's usually written "f/u" for follow-up.

That's too bad to hear your wife burst into flames like that. My condolences.

Lol-that one took me a long time to figure out. FU=Flame Up.

I'm going to have her email him back, "Hey! FU too buddy."

Ok, maybe not, but that would be funny.

I'd let it go. Obviously the guy didn't mean anything.

I always use Flwp. But to each their own. Even though this guy's own is obviously his very own.
