Some things are so retardedly priced.

The metric system is so straight-forward, everything is to the power of ten. I don't know why the U.S. is still using their own measuring system, which is confusing as heck. For ex.: 1ft = 12in; 1mi = 5280ft; 1yd = 3ft; 1gal = 128oz; etc. Very odd numbers!
In the metric system, all to the power of ten - straight-forward and consistent.
You know, I was thinking something similar the other day. Smaller jars of Ragu spaghetti sauce cost less per oz (sorry, American here, lol) than larger bottles of the exact same thing. Not a special or sale. WTF?
It's funny because not everyone notices these things that can save up to millions a year. Sarcasm
If I buy two 4L jugs at 2.78 for both instead of 3.00 for 6L worth of water bottles every week. I'm 18 years old right now, lets say I live until I'm 78. That's an astonishing 655 dollars saved over 60 years AND, AND I got to drink 6240L's more of water!!!!111!!
This is groundbreaking.

Well, it's no difference than those who pay $100 for a dress shirt that would cost $30-40 elsewhere.
But you could just bottle water from your tap. Ever think of that? I bought one bottle of store brand water 6 months ago so I could have the bottle (only other water bottle I had was a bicycle water bottle). Got it for $0.89 and filled it up w/ tap water since. Not to mention that it's better for the environment because you're saving all that plastic from all the water bottles you're buying.
But then there's a reason Evian is just naive spelled backwards.

You can 96 ounces of apple juice at my local Walmart for less than 48 ounces.

Also using a 4L bottle is probably using less plastic than buying a case of 12 and just drinking them and tossing them, but I do recycle, since my Mini Dachshund likes to play with water bottles.
Isn't reusing plastic bottles bad for you?

The measuring system we're using is called the English system for a reason.
