Well, the Endeavor came home from the ISS today and flew past overhead, the sonic boom was just too cool!

i grew up near dulles airport...whenever the concord was taking off (always around recess time) everyone, everything STOPPED. It was so damn loud you couldn't continue thinking.

I heard those booms as well. I wondered what it was and checked the nasa website to see if the shuttle had to land at Edwards. Sure enough, bad weather in Florida caused it to land here.

I don't have a scanner, I will try to scan it, But anyway did any of you guys see the Maxim issue with the F18 going supersonic? One of the coolest pictures I hae ever seen!!!
Supposedly it's pretty hard and rare to get a picture of it. I'll try to post it later.
