Got my at Walmart last night at midnight after 6 hour wait. I was #23 of 30 since I was just going to stop by at Walmart after work at 6pm. End it up staying in line. It was worth the wait. Walmart manager rolled out the red carpet for us. Big screen TV to watch World series while we sat on lawn chairs with hot dogs and burgers.

Can you believe it WalMart only makes $3 on each Playstation 2 deal on the first night as promotion?
Gran Turismo 2000 is not available at this time. That is one game I wanted.

The unit is priced at $300 and games at $50. It is worthy of the 128 bit system. On e-bay is now going at $600 and counting for some units out there. Might put my unit up for bid later next week.

That's
I called Wal-mart yesterday at 6pm and they had 11 people in line and 30 units to sell.
I am not that eager to get one to wait 6 hours in line.
I am still working on other options.
I have a friend of a friend that works at Sams. So maybe...

I pre-ordered mine from EB World back in March. I got it today. It is unbelievable what it does for the regular PS games.

Did you guys know that it cost Sony $488 to make the PS2 they make up the money on royalty fees they charge the software manufacturers. Isn't that crazy. So I guess you get more than you paid for.

Damn, I ordered from EB World, too, and they're just shipping mine today! The only game I preordered was Gran Tourismo 2000, so now I have to pick another game to try out...

S2KYELLOW, what are you playing?

Molly W, have you tried Gran Tourismo 2 yet?

Hell, I paid 300 for the original PS shortly after it came out.

It actually was released at 350 but came down within a couple of months.

Now you can buy them for less than 100!

Tedster,

I am playing Midnight Run. It is pretty good. Not in the same league as GT1 or GT2. It takes care of the driving cravings for now.

Looking for Madden NFL 2001 at my local store. Heard this one is a winner to get.

Most I saw was an auction on ebay where the high bid was $3000...insane.
