- 3.2 GHz Cell processor with with 2.18 teraflops of performance.

- Graphics chip will be the RSX Reality Synthesizer based on Nvidia technology. The GPU will be capable of 128bit pixel precision, 1080p resolution and take 300 million transistors..

- Backwards compatibility to PS2 and PS1 games.

- Confirmed for 2006 release.

I'd bet it still has 8mb memory card so you have to buy like 5 of them at $25 each, to same your games. sigh...

not to bash ps3 or anything. but paper spec isn't even superceeding xbox 360... now where are the actual in game screenies??????

2.18 teraflops? Umm... That would put it around number 86 on the top 500 supercomputer list. Basically tied with a Cray X1, which has 188 processors, and the pSeries 690 Turbo with 822 processors. Gotta wonder where the heck that number came from. <shake head>
