Right, it's Vay-guh. The "W" is actually a V with a shadow of the V. A marketing plan gone awry.

you have no idea how many people are calling it WAY-guh...and actually think they are correct! Ok, maybe you do, ha ha.

Ok, but where is the confirmation for the Vay-guh pronunciation...before I bag on my friends I want to have something!

I've wondered this myself. At the Sony web site, they have it as Wega . See for yourself .
