As much as you've done I figured you took part in building the thing.

The one in the middle was a big "G".
So i'm guessing the initial letter of each function?

Or the "G" was in the middle, maybe a, b, c, d, e & f?

One button was for jacks that lifted the car.
One for special treads on the tires.
One for the cool saws when driving through the trees.
One for that robot carrier pigeon.
One sealed up the cockpit. (Didn't it also have a TV or periscope?)

I can't remember if this was a button or not but
didn't the Mach 5 have special headlights for driving
in caves/night and stuff like that?

I'll be honest and disqualify myself from the contest. For I have just searched the WEB and retrieved the answers.

I can't remember when I last saw a Speed Racer episode. Mark, doesn't getting old suck?!

with the five thousand horsepower engine (that's what they say on the show), and all that technology and speed, how come there is no friggin button or detector for a whiney brat and a monkey in the trunk?

Well, since nobody is getting any warmer...here are the answers:

A - Jack stands at each wheel used for jumping

B - Belted tires for rough terrain

C - Saws (2) that can cut down trees

D - Cockpit cover (waterproof, bullet proof and roll cage)

E - Special lights that enabled Speed to see better in the dark

F - Underwater mode (used to feed oxygen to the cockpit (30 minutes) and a periscope with built in monitor)

G - Homing pigeon with joystick control and monitor to see what the pigeon saw. Also had a button 'H' that returned the pigeon to homebase automatically

That's it!! Pretty cool, huh?

Mark

Lips2000-
If your car had 1 less wheel, it could be the Racer X car.

Unfortunately, LipS2000 could probably drive his car with one less wheel better than the most of us on 4.

PS. I get paid for complimenting him publicly.
