Off-topic TalkWhere overpaid, underworked S2000 owners waste the worst part of their days before the drive home. This forum is for general chit chat and discussions not covered by the other off-topic forums.
I saw the original thread (web), read the story by Mindcore and was traumatized. That night I go home, open the mailbox, pull out my mail, close the box, walk up the steps and see a spider crawling up my sleeve.
The scream I let out started the dog next door barking, I tripped on the steps, dropped the mail, hit my knee, and in general fell apart emotionally.
Please stop this torture!!!
The Black Widow is highly over-rated. The one to be afraid of is a Brown Recluse. It bites you (but may not even be noticable at first.) Then, at the bite site, your skin begins to rot in an ever widening circle. The treatment is to carve out the rotting part to stop the spread.
Heck, up there in Chi-town, it would probably be mis-diagnosed and you'd lose an arm...

You know the best way to get rid of the rotting skin?? Magots.
Magots will only eat rotting flesh, so you fill the wound with magots and they devour the rotting flesh leaving only the healthy flesh. Since they won't eat healthy flesh you don't have to worry about them eating too much of your body...
