It's the scalding hot water which does the damage.
The ants in the U.S.A. are probably tougher than ours but it's worth a try.
You really need to expose the nest, get some lighter fuel then cremate the bastards.

Less ants now, for some reason I would leave the gauze in the bathroom and I think the ants came to eat or bring back the pus and bacteria because that is where I found a concentration of them.

Dude, that's gross. Guess ants will eat just about anything.

Malathion will definitely get rid of ants. I don't think they sell it anymore in the sotres though. They get rid of all the good chemicals.
