Default spitting

Not for the faint of heart:

Ok, what's the trick in the S??? Spit out over the door and you get snot all over the door and the back quarter panel. Spit up (with the top down, of course) and you get snot all over your face. Can anyone offer some good advice here?

Haha, I'd be interested to hear as well. I tried spitting out the window once, and ended up with spit across the bottom of the window and the door.

LOL - no tobaccy here - I've got some freaking allergies kicking up with the weather changing. I've thought about the spit bottle, but I'd hate like hell to drop the top of it and have all that snot come spilling out. Yech.

I can die now and know that I've heard all the possible questions that can be asked on S2Ki.com about how to do something ON, IN, WITH and TO an S2000.

Personally, if I were to flick gum or something out of the car, I'd probably do it straight up with the top down. At any speed faster than like 30mph, the wind resistence that would be caused to the gum/spit/whatever would dramatically slow the velocity of the spit down. Since the car is still moving, the spit will just probably fall straight down, but by the time it reaches where your trunk should be, you'd be long gone.

Whereas if you spit out gum out the side of the car, the wind will suction around the car, and it'll get firmly planted on your quarter panel. I have a sunroof in the car I have now, and that's where I throw the gum out.

Physics. I think.
