IMO, expectorating in public, be it from a car, or while on foot is disgusting, and indicative of bad manners. But then, thats from a conservative canuck like me

if ur in the US. take a right turn and spit out the window in the middle of the turn.. spit goes one way your car the opposite.. but if u spit like a wuss u will prob still get some on your car.

Finally! What the hell is all this spitting about anyway? I remember when people were ticketed for spitting in public. Spit at home. Spitting is gross and potentially dangerous with all these diseases. Disgusting as hell to boot.
