Man those sticky pads.

I had some folks out a couple of summers ago that are all into animals. Within
2 hours we trapped half a dozen of them in the same spot. Those hippies wanted to set them free -- so after much prying they finally got one loose from the glue trap.

Funniest shit I have seen in years. This little mouse running down the alley dragging an increasing pile of sticks/leaves/trash as it scampered away. So much so that after it got maybe 20 feet it could not move any longer.

Just get the spring traps, those sticky pads let the mouse or whatever gets in them die of starvation and dehydration, a slow and lingering death, while the spring traps are usually an instant kill. I use peanut butter in mine and it works better than cheese. BTW they can fit through a hole no bigger in diameter than a dime.

^ I'm sure it works with larger intruders as well.

Mice make good pets actually. They can be tamed if you have very fast reflexes. It takes them a while to chill out.

I have a pet mouse who is now tame enough for me to scratch the fur above her nose or behind her ears (I have to use my pinky finger). She will lick my hand while I am doing that, kind of like a cat does.
