I'm probably going to pick this up.....I just hope Lucas doesn't release yet another "remastered, re-edited, and spruced-up" version of these later down the line.....
You know it's goning to happen

I think it's only a matter of time before they "redo" Episodes 1-6. Give it another 20 years.

YEAH!!!!!!! BABY!!!!!!!! Got mine. It looks fantastic. So clean and sharp it looks like it was filmed yesterday. Sound is beautiful.

Go and watch the original A New Hope teaser trailer on the special features disk. It is soooooooooo bad it is hilarious. I also like the TV commercial that talks about a "farm boy and princess in love" OOOOOOOHHHHH. Space incest!!!!!!

I give it

Yeah it's silly that they altered that scene IMO. By the time that scene rolls around Anakin was supposed to be a bit older than he was in episodes 1-3 so why they didn't leave it for realism is beyond me.

I was excited to have the true, original episodes on DVD but now see that it's had even more alterations than the "special editions" released years ago. Why can't people leave good enough alone?

It's said Lucas is never quite happy. He treats it like a model project; he just keeps tinkering. They are his movies after all.

I noticed the space scenes were very cleaned up. the star destroyers have a more realistic look to them.
