Default Still Gonna Drive the Bridges?

I wonder how many out West are still going to commute as usual, now that a specific threat against the Bridges is being investigated there?

I didn't realize there was a threat 'til I saw this tread! Thanks for the heads up!

This is what I found from various local news sources:
Four California bridges named as possible terrorist targets!
Gov. Davis reveals threat to bridges!

Damn....I'm definitely gonna re-plan my commute since I like taking either the Golden Gate Bridge or SF Bay Bridge on my way home!

I sure hope it doesn't happen, since there's quite a bit of media coverage and they're going to be beefing up security around the bridges. This will only make the bad rush-hour commute even worse!!! In the meantime, I'll probably try to work from home more often!

I am not going to let any terrorist threat keep me from getting on with my life. I will still drive across any bridge.

I have no choice. No bridge, no way to work. Not gonna let some raghead terrorist bother me anyways.

i'm still going to drive on them and i live 5 mins from NYC
nothing is going to happen...if it was going to happen it would have happened already...this media sensationalism is retarded and they should be treated the same way as the people who send out phony anthrax letters for causing all this fear and panic

I just crossed the Golden Gate bridge this morning (so much for my alternate plans ) . The funny thing is I've never felt safer on that bridge than I did today! Traffic was light. No trucks were on the bridge (probably diverted) . And security was beefed up (National Guards w/M16s are kinda hard to miss).

Very surreal for a major landmark/tourist spot!

They just said on the news that the FBI found out that the bridge threats were a hoax. Gov. Davis just erred on the side of caution, telling everyone about them.
