Now how do you get that job. There are so many cool jobs and nobody tells me how to get them.

Here's my take on the whole thing... I'm bored and frustrated as h#!! with my job, but joking about it with you guys helped feel a little better about being a waste of a paycheck. I figured that was what everyone else was doing too - well, one or two of those posts were kinda shady Not offensive though!

Now, back to the fine tradtition we've been following - I'd like to give you guys some slackin' updates....
Here's what my new work schedule looks like:

7am - hunh?
8am - yeah, right...
9am - wake up
10am - get out of bed, take shower, get dressed etc...
11am - head to Starbucks, sit on patio and read until I get hungry
1pm - usaually about the time I eat lunch back at the 'office', check out what the TiVo has in store for me, and maybe put a coat of Z5 on the Black Beauty (dang swirl marks just don't go away!)
5pm - work's over!

Now, it should be mentioned that the day is interspersed with checking my work-related e-mail, and my office/cell phone is on 24/7, so it's not like I'm avoiding my boss/co-workers/customers - they just haven't had anything for me to do lately...

I just started my 3rd semster of college. And I want a job where I can have work to do but also am able to go online and check this site out and email and such that still pays decent.

Also is there a job that I could get right now that will allow me to do this and not have a degree.

Also if there is such a job should I quit school this semester persue the job and then go to night school next semester.

Please help me out because I want to be a semi-slacker. Thanks

Quitting school is almost always a bad move. Maybe 1% of the time something too good to pass up comes along but not usually.

If these are really your goals I suggest a career in the aerospace industry. Any of the giants should do: Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, Northrup-Grumman, Raytheon, etc...

Pretty good pay and pretty light workload most of the time. You won't get rich but you won't work too hard either.
