The fact is that that thread was nothing more than idle speculation and resulted in nothing more than circumstatial evidence, something that I would expect you, as an attorney, would know something about...
Fact- The lenses were not cracked when the vendor applied the stonguard otherwise they would not have applied it or at least noted it.
Fact- The lenses cracked while the product was still applied.
Fact- Stonguard denies any resposibility and refuses to satisfy the customer.
Or maybe you feel the original poster is a liar?
WE ALL SAW THE CEO's RESPONSE TO THE SITUATION. Odds are the vendor screwed up and used some non approved solvent to clean the lenses before product application. Even if there is a doubt Stonguard reacted poorly and we all witnessed it in real time.
Like the saying goes "When you find a trout in the milk dish you have a pretty good idea that the cat did it" See how I worked a fish into this post? Do you like trout fishing?
Of course we also witnessed Greg and Sondra try to play down the situation like the good Agents (lap dogs) they have become for the Vendors, manufacturers and salesmens Union.
Like Boris and Natasha were to the "Villians, Thieves and Scoundrels Union"
Yes, Bieg, those are all the circumstances around what happened. You can call them facts, but does not ascribe liability. This "case" is still purely circumstantial. Even you yourself said it, "Odds are the vendor screwed up and used some non approved solvent to clean the lenses before product application. " The fact is that you don't know, I don't know, no one knows...I don't understand why that is so hard to understand.
You may call me all the names you like, you will only look the fool for doing so. Lap dog, whatever you care to label me as, I think your relentless pursuit of me is rather amusing and I'm not going to take your bait.
I'll state it once more, since there seems to be some slow learners here. No one has provided hard cold evidence that StonGard is/was at fault for anything more than a pathetically bad PR move, something which I have been critical of. Yes, we all did see the CEO's response and it was diplorable. No argument there from me.
Until some credible person who knows the facts and story behind all of this says that it was StonGard's fault, I will not be pointing fingers at anyone. I just don't know what happened and neither does anyone else. That is the bottom line...
Call me all the names you like, Bieg...a shill, a hacker, whatever...but the only evidence that points to StonGard as being the root cause of this is indeed circumstantial. Send these lenses off to a lab and do a chemcial analysis. That, in my book, is the only proof positive.
My mom taught me to be skeptical and critical...that's exactly what I am practising here.

I submitt that the SCS2K is more credible than you in "reviewing a product". He actually was a "Paying Customer". You expect people to believe what you say (even though you are "sponsored") about a product.
What makes you "credible" and SCS2K not? What does SCS2K have to gain by all this? He is just giving us a heads up on what happened to him. It DID happen you know. You on the other hand have a vested interest in promoting your "sponsor" yet YOU consider yourself credible (although many of us do not).
The case was presented by both sides and tried by the Forum. Off hand I would say Stonguard was the loser. Who cares what you think?
You and Sondra are just doing "Damage Control" for a "potential sponsor".
As far as me "looking like a fool", well I would rather look like one than actually be one.

I don't see what impartiality has to do with it either. Muz gave me a free set of floor mats. Does that mean I can't talk about them or say they are nice and post some pics? Can I say that they are the best mats I've tried without being dismantled as a peddler of his wears? Should you believe what I have to say about them or disregard it as propaganda?
Greg's getting some free parts, so what? I want to know about his experience and what he thinks. I understand that he's being sponsored and take that into account. If he says their good and I buy them and find out otherwise, he'll look pretty dumb. I don't think that is likely. Agree or disagree, Greg has proven to be forthright in his views and I respect that.
I want all this bickering to stop. If you have questions about the appropriateness of a thread or post, bring it to my attention.
I haven't been fishing in a long time. I wish I could go. It was fun. I don't know how much fun it would be now that I am older. Wish I still had all my old poles and stuff. And get rid of that fear of poking out my eyes.
If you don't care what I think, why do you insist on pursuing me with this tenacity that is not just amazing, but also bizarre?
I can't believe you let the cat out of the bag...my car is the project car for MG Racing. The secret is out...I can't believe you have blown my cover.
BTW, StonGard of Georgia is already a sponsor of S2KDays. Not a "potential" sponsor...perhaps you would like to correct your post. Perhaps not, I couldn't care less, actually...
I'm going to make an announcement soon that King Motorsports, MG Racing, StonGard of Georgia, Zaino, Zymol, Rick's Accessories, Import Development, Comptech, Coastal Metals, PB Designs and Intercity Lines, among others, are ALL sponsors of S2KDays and the S2000 Club of America. It's true. I know I have tried to hide it, but now since you alluded to it, I must let the cat out of the bag.
I never claimed to have any credibility, actually. I'm a guy with an S2000 who likes to forge partnerships. Call it the leader in me. I like making new friends. You have mistakenly given me credibility. Given your hatred of how I am going about things, why do you even bother with posting in reply to what I say or do? Given the zero credibility that you claim that I have, why does it matter to you so profoundly? I should be dismissed out of hand. Instead you persist in stating the obvious. Bieg, there is not a SOUL here who doesn't know what the relationships are between and among S2000 owners, S2KDays, the S2000 Club of America and all the awesome companies that support our efforts.
It's quite obvious that you have a very deep seated personal hatred for me and that's fine, I'm not complaining. But I find it odd and a little scary, actually. Go and look at Car Talk now. Who else do you deride and decry like you do me? No one who is actually selling stuff there is treated like you treat me. I find that to be a double standard and just reeks of it being a personal hostility towards me - which, in fact, is kind of humorous.
That said, I find your antipathy of me rather amusing. But I don't know whether I should be flattered or frightened...

Thank you, C3. I was writing at the same time that you posted your reply. You can count on me not to respond if Mr Biegler continues to attack me. I will let my response stand as the last word to this person.
Thanks for standing by me...I, too, am sooooo tired of this, you simply cannot imagine.
