With more armament than an F-22 Raptor, Raptor.

It isn't as fast, manueverable (think thrust vectoring), or stealthy as the F22. It also can't engage as many targets simultaneously. The F35 Joint Strike Fighter is designed to accommodate Air Force conventional runways, carriers, and navy amphibious assault ships/marine short runway environments (STOVL). It is by design a compromise fighter.
