Anyone else watching this show? I personally think it's awesome, interesting concept that strays from the normal vampire genre. Decent amount of gore which is nice and some parts are pretty intense/scary, the gf gets freaked out fairly well each episode haha. It's on FX in case you want to check it out, I've just been downloading it via torrents as I'm up in Canada and don't readily get FX.

I am enjoying it even though it has a couple serious plot flaws.

DelToro said he brought the project to FOX several years ago and the network exec asked him "Is there any way we can turn this into a sitcom?" I swear people who greenlight projects in TV and Movies must be total morons.

The vampire SWAT team at the end of the episode was a pretty cool twist.

Yeah I'm interested in seeing if that tactical team is renegades or from another master perhaps, adds a nice twist as the show might have gotten old watching the old man and the doc go around killing them all haha.

Not sure how or why you would want this spun into a sitcom haha, I hear the books are good as well, might have to give them a go.

I watched the pilot; it was good! Didn't really creep me out until the very end when the little girl went back home to the distraught father. Was watching in a dark room... ooooohh that one got me, hahaha. I need to catch up on it. Are they on Hulu or anywhere else?
